I remember Claire visiting my workshop a couple of days before the big day, full of pre-wedding nerves. However as the day arrived her worries were unfounded. She said, once she stepped into her dress her nerves disappeared and she was the calmest she had felt in 18 months! Her dress was by Sottero and Midgley from Maria Modes Bridal Wear in Macclesfield. www.mariamodes.com
She wanted me to create a hand tied bouquet in ivory and white to complete her look. I used crystal blush callas, avalanche roses, lisianthus, freesia and veronica to give the bouquet a soft feminine feel which would compliment her dress.
This colour scheme was used for the ceremony and wedding breakfast. It was perfect for the setting as Crewe Hall itself dates back to the 17th Century and is decorative and Jacobean in style. The ceremony was dressed with lanterns and petals and candelabras. The guest tables were also decorated with candelabras with purple, ivory, lime flowers and crystal trim.
As the day continued and evening approached Lesley captured Claire and Danny surrounded by friends and family enjoying their unforgettable day.
